Assignment
To give the fans of number one bestselling and award winning auther Derek Landy's book series Skulduggery Pleasant the chance to step into the immersive universe of magic and sorcerers.

HarperCollins wanted the universe to come alive in a one day event in the heart of Dublin where participants were part of an interactive theatre piece where they were part of the story.

Execution
Odyssé created the interactive transmedia theatre piece Theatre of Shadows where 250 participants from all over the world, stepped into the world of Skulduggery Pleasant and through their actions saved the two main characters from an evil sorcerer.
Online participants could participate and help solving the story by decoding and solving quests placed by the live participants. During the event we had 6,999 people from 45 countries participating online.
At the same time the author Derek Landy wrote a short story where the actions of the participants influenced the story. The participants got the story after the event and it will be available in the book Armageddon Outta Here.
